H20R Hydrostatic Release Unit for liferafts – USCG/SOLAS/MED
The Hammar H20 is a hydrostatic release unit designed to fit liferafts of all shapes and sizes. It is made of glass fiber reinforced nylon, which prevents it from corroding. The Hammar H20 needs no annual service, maintenance or spare parts. You simply install a new one every two years and dispose of the old one. With the environment in mind, the old unit is 97% recyclable.

Services We Provide
Liferaft Service & Recertification
At MSE Safety Solutions Guyana Inc. we operate a Liferaft service station which is certified and fully compliant with IMO Resolution A.761(18) as amended by RESOLUTION MSC.55(66), and all manufactures whom we represent.
Cylinder Hydrotesting & Requalification
For High pressure cylinders (Over 1000 Psi) we test using the water jacket method. Our Hydro-Test system is rated for testing in a range of 2000 – 10,000psi, and Meets U.S. DOT requirements for accuracy and readability.
Carbon Dioxide Refilling
We operate a highly efficient carbon dioxide filling facility using a 4.5 ton refrigerated bulk storage tank and High Torque Pumping unit which can transfer about 10 lbs of Liquid Co2 per minute. A high accuracy calibrated weighing scale is also used to ensure the correct amount of Co2 has been filled.
